I bought this car new in July 1992. I had special ordered it from my brother who was a car salesman in Japan. I think the sticker was $23,000 and I paid $18,000. I put 180,000 miles on it between 1992 and 2001, then I drove it every now and then until 2005 when I parked it outside in the hot southern Georgia sun where it baked uncovered for 6 long years. In 2011 we moved to Arkansas and in 2013 I got the Cavalier back on the road.
